Vince Zampella, Has Died in a Los Angeles Car Crash
The visionary game developer, the mind behind the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The renowned game designer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his family, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
