"These conditions was truly horrendous for the residents. The heavy rains were so powerful... And the gales were so forceful," stated the official.
Officials express grave concern that children living in tents in soaked garments will contract hypothermia and various illnesses.

Additional accounts put a increased fatality count. Authorities reported that multiple homes had collapsed completely and dozens had been partly destroyed.
- Nearly 55,000 families affected by rains.
- More than 40 emergency shelters submerged.
- Many people compelled to move once more.
Aid Distribution Deemed Inadequate
Organizations have stepped up distribution of shelter, blankets and clothing since the truce began, but they emphasize there is remains not enough aid reaching those in need.
"We are striving constantly to deliver that relief and to hand it out, but the size of the needs is so enormous that we continue to see thousands of individuals and minors who are really suffering each evening," cautioned one spokesperson.
Ongoing Challenges and Ceasefire Provisions
The subsequent part of the agreement includes plans for the reconstruction of Gaza, along with political arrangements, the withdrawal of troops, and other terms.
Aid organizations have underscored the necessity for "greater and continuous aid to meet immediate and future needs."
The hostilities was initiated by an offensive in late 2023. Later military operations have led to a substantial number of lives lost in the area, according to health ministry figures.
