The City of Angels experienced widespread celebrations after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show thousands of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy high.
